Chain Curtains (chain door fly and insect screens) are made from anodised aluminium links that will not rust. Our chain curtains are available in silver, red, blue, green, black, gold and bronze. They remain a cheap alternative for screening domestic and commercial premises, providing protection against flies, bees, wasps and flying insects.
Our door chain curtains (chain door fly and insect screens) are ideal for the front or rear entrances found on most small businesses, the chain door screen is the cheapest method available for covering a door opening.
All door chain curtains are suitable for front and rear door openings on domestic premises. Individual lengths of aluminium chain hang down from a top track.
*The chain curtain on this page is not suitable for openings used by wheeled conveyances.
How To Install a
Chain Curtain
• Use the Pan Head screws to secure one of the fixing brackets no more than 150mm
in from the edge of the opening.
Ensure both brackets angle out at the top to enable the top track to locate and
hook over.
• Level up the second bracket from the first to ensure the chain curtain hangs vertically.
• Lift the top track over and onto the brackets, positioning it to overlap the opening
by at least 25mm on each side.
• Use a pair of long nosed pliers to open out the aluminium links - insert through
the holes on the top of the track and bend back to the original shape ensuring chain
is firmly attached to the top of the track.
• Follow the chain to the floor leaving no more than 25mm from the floor, then using the pliers unhook the chain and repeat the process along the track until the curtain is complete.
