The angle of the roof proved a trickier design than some. The best solution was to split the screen into two, hinged on either side and kept shut via turn buttons. Once the order was received we planned a date to arrive and fit the screen. This involved liaising directly with the pub on behalf of Cheshire Pest Control: our technician Andy phoned the week before, confirming a time and date for us to attend site. When Andy arrived on site, the first thing he did was to confirm the window’s measurements. They were accurate!

Making the screens up in the back of the van is a huge advantage to the way Safety Screens work, ensuring all screens are fitted perfectly. Andy then set about making the screen up in his mobile workshop. Another big advantage – not getting under the toes of the workers on site – they still have a business to run! Once made, Andy made the short journey back to the kitchen to fix it to the screen. Fitting this screen made sure that the Red Lion are fully compliant with pest control legislation; any site involved in the food manufacturing process requires fly and insect screening.
