Safety Screens - Asked to supply PVC Curtain in Leeds

Yorkshire Roller Shutters asked us to supply a PVC curtain for their customer in Leeds. Firstly they required some concealment of the goods within the warehouse, meaning standard clear grade wasn’t suitable.

After discussing the options it was decided to go for a ‘frosted’ grade PVC, allowing some privacy as to what was on the other side. Their main request was for a curtain that could be slid out of the way to allow forklifts and pallets to be driven through.

Problem Solved - Zero impact

This solution proved to be a 4 piece bi-parting system, with the two end quarters fixed whilst the sliding track moved the middle section out of the way when needed.
From the dimensions given Safety Screens calculated the amount of strips required at a partial overlap.

The strips, sliding gear and heavy duty track were all cut to size and dispatched within 3 working days. YRS then fitted the gear themselves. The curtain started paying for itself immediately, insulating the warehouse and saving on energy bills.
